TELLURIDE JAZZ FESTIVAL
VOLUNTEER APPLICATION 2025

Please complete this volunteer application to be considered for joining the Jazz Volunteer Team.

If you are accepted as a volunteer you will be assigned either two 5-6 hour shifts, or one 8 hour shift on a setup or teardown day. If you are assigned two shifts we generally assign you one morning shift and one afternoon or evening shift.

In exchange for your volunteer work, you will receive a 3-Day festival pass and a Jazz Volunteer Team t-shirt.

*Please note there is a one-time, non-refundable $20 application fee due at the time of submission.

I understand and agree that submitting this application form does not automatically register me as a Telluride Jazz Festival Volunteer. By submitting this form, I attest that the information I have provided on the form is true and accurate.

If I am accepted as a volunteer, I agree to the following:
-To satisfactorily complete my scheduled shifts.
-To arrive on time for my scheduled shifts.
-To NOT be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during my shifts.
-To NOT bring any pets with me to my shifts (yes, this means no dogs).
-To be an ambassador of goodwill for the festival and to treat festival patrons with respect and courtesy.


I understand that a one-time non-refundable fee of $20 must be paid before applicants are accepted to join the Jazz Volunteer Team. 


I understand if I fail to meet any of the above requirements, I will be charged the full amount for a 3-day festival ticket in the amount of $257.49


If I am accepted as a volunteer and assigned shifts, I agree to notify the volunteer coordinator by no later than July 15, 2025 if I find I am unable to participate. If you confirm your volunteer shifts and cancel after the deadline, you will be charged a courtesy fee of $50. This fee is commensurate with the time and labor costs associated with scheduling and confirming your assigned shifts.



I understand that camping and lodging are not provided to volunteers. Camping passes may be purchased separately at telluridejazz.org/tickets


I understand that neither the Telluride Jazz Festival nor any of its officers, employees, or volunteers shall be held liable for any claims seeking damages for personal injury or property damage that may arise out of my participation as a volunteer for the festival. I also agree to indemnify the Telluride Jazz Festival, its officers, employees, volunteers and the Town of Telluride harmless on account of any such claims.
